Tulip Black Parrot - Pack of 20

These striking Parrot tulips produce large, dramatic blooms in deep shades of burgundy, dark purple, and nearly black. The heavily ruffled, twisted petals have a beautiful, velvety texture, with subtle wine-colored undertones that become more noticeable as the flowers open. Unlike the rounded, peony-like blooms of Black Hero, this variety has a more wild, sculptural appearance. A fantastic choice for adding rich color, movement, and texture to spring gardens and floral arrangements.

Planting Instructions:
Plant tulip bulbs in the fall, when the weather has cooled and before the ground freezes. Choose a location with full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Plant bulbs approximately 6″ deep, measuring from the soil surface to the bottom of the bulb, and space them 4–6″ apart. Place bulbs with the pointed end facing upward, cover with soil, and water thoroughly after planting. In warmer climates, tulip bulbs may need to be pre-chilled before planting to ensure proper flowering.
