A soft, crisp white dahlia with a pale lavender and a warm golden center, this variety has that perfect open, garden-style form that feels effortless and romantic. It first appeared years ago in a batch of Gingeroo tubers I purchased from the late Gary Adams of Pleasant Valley Dahlias—tucked in unexpectedly, but far too good to ignore. Since then, it’s proven itself year after year as one of the earliest bloomers on the farm and an incredibly prolific, reliable producer with long, usable stems.
Despite spending seasons trying to identify it, this one remains a mystery—but it’s too good to keep to myself. Named in honor of Gary and the legacy he left in the dahlia world, this is a variety that deserves to be grown and enjoyed.
